Dave Morris Earthworks are Bulk Earthmoving Contractors. Servicing throughout Canterbury and with over 45 people in the team, Dave Morris Earthworks are the experts in Emergency Floodbanks, Plantation Clearance work, Farm Conversion Work, Dam Building, Building Stopbanks and Rebuilding Floodbanks.
Dave Morris Earthworks started on the West Coast with the business being an Open Cast Coal Mine called Morris Mines. After 30 years, Dave Morris moved his business to Canterbury in 2001 and after hiring really good staff set up Dave Morris Earthworks.
Currently Dave Morris Earthworks are helping Canterbury recover from a series of devastating Earthquakes. They're sub-contracted to Fulton Hogan and the Christchurch City Council and have been working on stabilising both the Avon and Waimak Rivers. Dave Morris Earthworks created the road into the Pike River Mine and they continue to work for ECAN and Trust Power in the Rakaia Valley.
