David Morris Earthworks (DME) are relatively recently established in the Canterbury area operating from our base in Hororata. In the seven years of being established in the area, we have undertaken a large range of work from farm conversions to flood banks for local ecan. All of the above works have to some degree involved compliance with consents, adherence to set quality standards and procedures with the works to completed to time schedules and budget.
We can offer you a full range of plant ideally suited for bulk earthworks, site development, land clearing, farm development, storage dam construction, roading, quarrying and river protection. This fleet consists of 29 - 20 tonne hydraulic excavators, 25 tonne 6 wheeled articulated all-terrain dump trucks, 112 and 225 kW bulldozers, grader, compactors, water cart, 28 tonne transporter and front-end loaders.We offer the mid range of bulk earthmoving plant in terms of weight and capability with the emphasis on bulk earthworks.
We do not profess, or try, to be a major player in the earthmoving scene but see ourselves in a niche market where service and flexibility are important and yet able to produce results with full regard to quality, safety, environment and customer satisfaction. Due to the relative small size of the company, overheads can be kept to a minimum and cost effective plant rates offered. We can offer hourly hire rates or fully costed contract unit rates for any particular activity.
